Back Layout

A trick where the performer jumps up and rotates 360° backwards along the sagittal plane (or about the x-axis), before returning to his feet. What sets this apart from a regular backflip is the lack of a tuck. Instead of bringing the knees to the chest, the practitioner uses his back muscles to force the rotation while at the same time bringing his hips as high as possible to maintain height.
