1
Jump towards the wall/obstacle, leaning back so that your feet hit first
Pro Tip
- •Don't jump towards an obstacle that doesn't have a ledge you can grab onto, especially at height!
2
Grab the wall with your feet hitting the wall first or at the same time as your arms grabbing.
Pro Tip
- •Having your feet hit first helps absorb the shock of the landing and puts you in a position where you're less likely to slip. Hands first is much more likely to slip.
3
When you've grabbed the wall, sink down, extending your arms fully, letting your butt sink.
you did it!
Pro Tip
- •Sinking down isn't always the best if you're going to be doing a climb-up or some other form of climb. Sinking down, however, is good for getting into a secure position on the wall.
